These terms apply to everyone who uses findyourphysio.ca: patients, clinics and practitioners. By using the site or sending us a form, you agree to them.

What Find Your Physio does

Find Your Physio is a free online directory of physiotherapy clinics in Alberta. It also passes home-visit requests from patients to clinics and practitioners, and introduces clinics to practitioners who can cover a leave. We make introductions only. We don't provide health care, and we don't employ or contract any clinic or practitioner.

Not medical advice or emergency care

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and we don't recommend specific clinics, practitioners or treatments. In an emergency, call 911. For health advice at any time, call Health Link at 811.

Directory information

Clinic details come from public sources and from clinics themselves, and they can change. We try to keep them accurate but can't guarantee it, so please confirm hours, services, fees and direct billing with the clinic before you book.

Home visits

When you request a home visit, we pass your request to clinics and practitioners who say they visit your area. We can't guarantee that someone will be available. The clinic or practitioner who books with you is responsible for your care, their fees, your receipts, any direct billing to your insurer, and their professional insurance.

Locum cover

When a clinic asks us to find a locum, we pass the request to practitioners on our locum list and introduce those who are interested. The clinic and the practitioner agree the contract between them, including pay, schedule, supervision, insurance and registration with insurers. Our checks of registration and insurance are a starting point, not a replacement for the clinic's own checks before the practitioner starts.

If you're a practitioner

You agree to give us accurate information and to tell us if anything changes, including your registration, membership or insurance. You're responsible for keeping your registration and liability insurance active, for making sure your insurance covers home visits if you do them, and for the care you give. We may stop sending you requests or remove you from a list at any time.

If you're a clinic

You confirm that you're authorised to act for the clinic and that the information you send is accurate. You're responsible for the care given at or by your clinic and for any arrangement you make with a practitioner we introduce.

Using contact details fairly

If we pass you someone's contact details, use them only for the reason we passed them on: to book a home visit or to discuss a locum contract. Don't add them to marketing lists or share them with anyone else.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Find Your Physio isn't responsible for the care anyone receives, for arrangements between patients, clinics and practitioners, or for losses that come from using the site or the information on it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date below shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta.
